GROVE Visualizes Language Model Output Distributions
A study of 13 researchers led to the creation of GROVE, an interactive visualization tool. It maps multiple model generations as overlapping paths through a text graph to reveal shared patterns and edge cases. This replaces anecdotal prompt testing with a structural view of stochasticity, helping practitioners identify model instability.
