Unsupervised ML Maps Keta Basin Electrofacies
Six standard wireline logs from 11,195 samples in the Keta Basin provided the data for this study. Researchers applied K-means clustering to identify four distinct electrofacies based on clay content and porosity. The moderate silhouette coefficient of 0.50 suggests the workflow can effectively characterize geological frameworks when core data are scarce.
