Cloudflare Launches Granular AI Bot Controls
Site owners can now manage Search, Training, and Agent bots independently. Cloudflare replaces its previous blanket block with these specific controls to give publishers more precision. By September 15, 2026, the company will block Training and Agent bots by default on ad-supported pages. This update allows developers to selectively permit search indexing while blocking model training.
