AWS Integrates Ray Into SageMaker HyperPod
Amazon integrated the open-source Ray framework into SageMaker HyperPod to simplify distributed Python workloads. The update leverages KubeRay on Amazon EKS to automate cluster lifecycles and node recovery. This removes the manual overhead of managing Ray on Kubernetes. Practitioners can now scale foundation model training and serving with less infrastructure friction.
