Cloudflare Launches Granular AI Bot Controls
Site owners can now manage Search, Training, and Agent bots separately instead of using a blanket block. Cloudflare will block Training and Agent bots by default on ad-supported pages starting September 15, 2026. This shift gives publishers precise control over their data. Developers can now selectively permit search indexing while blocking model training.
