Indonesia Launches First University AI Center
Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indosat, and NVIDIA opened the NVAITC in Yogyakarta this week. This center combines government and industry resources to train local talent and build AI for national priorities. It marks a shift toward domestic development over simple adoption. Researchers will now have dedicated infrastructure to build localized AI applications.
