Researchers in Japan built an AI tool that designs thermoelectric generators 10,000 times faster than conventional methods. The system identifies materials that conduct electricity while limiting heat flow. Prototypes based on these AI recommendations perform on par with human-designed versions. This speedup removes the simulation bottleneck for waste heat recovery hardware.
