Mojo Programming Language Goes Open Source
The Mojo compiler and toolchain are now available under an Apache 2 license. This move follows the recent release of version 1.0. Developers should note that Modular abandoned the goal of making Mojo a full Python superset. Practitioners must now rely on AI-assisted migration tools to port existing Python code.
