AWS Adds Rate Limiting To AgentCore Gateway
Amazon Bedrock now supports OAuth and IAM-based rate limiting for the AgentCore gateway. This update allows developers to restrict requests per minute, concurrent connections, and token throughput on a per-user basis. It prevents individual users from exhausting resources. Practitioners can now protect downstream LLMs and MCP servers from traffic spikes.
