ReVEL Evolves Heuristics with LLMs
ReVEL clusters candidate heuristics into behaviorally coherent groups, giving the LLM concise feedback during evolution. By embedding the LLM as a multi‑turn reasoner inside an evolutionary algorithm, the framework iteratively refines heuristics for NP‑hard combinatorial problems.
