OMEGA Framework Automates ML Algorithm Discovery
The OMEGA framework generates executable ML classifiers that outperform scikit-learn baselines across 20 benchmark datasets. It integrates meta-prompt engineering with code generation to automate the research cycle from idea to implementation. Researchers released the system as a Python package. This provides a concrete path for automating the discovery of novel classifiers.
