AI Accelerates Thermoelectric Generator Design
Researchers in Japan built an AI tool that designs thermoelectric generators 10,000 times faster than conventional methods. The system identifies materials that conduct electricity while limiting heat flow. Prototypes based on these recommendations performed on par with traditional designs. This speedup removes the engineering slog of slow simulations for waste heat recovery hardware.
